“Grief is clouding her judgement,” Sara signed, “But if we can stop her, she’s more likely to help us try to find out who attacked me.”

“Seeing you’re alive is probably our best bet at trying to get her to calm down, focus, and work with us,” she replied.

“With any luck,” Sara replied, “We’ll find some way to stop this. We always do.”

“It’s not really Nyssa’s reaction I’m worried about,” Sara replied, “It’s more how her father will manipulate that reaction to his own ends that’s bothering me more.”

“Either way. Nyssa does not equal anything good.” Felicity sighed and ran her hands over her face.

“Grief is clouding her judgement,” Sara signed, “But if we can stop her, she’s more likely to help us try to find out who attacked me.”

Felicity nodded her head in agreement. She didn’t know exactly what she would do since all she only did was be the the computer girl. “I’m not exactly sure what Nyssa will do. You and her were a thing after all.”

“It’s not really Nyssa’s reaction I’m worried about,” Sara replied, “It’s more how her father will manipulate that reaction to his own ends that’s bothering me more.”

“Yeah, I’ll be teling them. We need at least some semblance of a plan sooner rather than later.”

Felicity nodded in agreement. “It’s what’s best. Right?” She wasn’t sure. The league was tough and Sara had an intimate relationship with the heir to the Demon.

“It’s definitely better than having no plan at all,” Sara replied, “I think I know what Ra’s has been trying to manipulate into happening, and with my ‘murder’, he’s lit that fuse through Nyssa.”

“I have no idea right now how we’re going to deal with any of this,” Sara sighed, “Look at the mess that happened the last time the League was in town.”

Felicity shrugged. “I’m not sure either. One things for sure is that they need to know you’re alive so we have a better handle on dealing with the League when they come.”

“Yeah, I’ll be teling them. We need at least some semblance of a plan sooner rather than later.”

”She really can’t do that again,” Sara replied, “If the person who attacked me is who I seem to remember it being, then even Oliver’s going to be in a hell of a lot of trouble trying to go after him. They need to be more careful than this.”

“She was mad and not listening to anyone. Oliver didn’t want her out there and trying to find out information.” Felicity sighed and nodded her head. “So you and Oliver need to figure this out and do something about it.”

“I have no idea right now how we’re going to deal with any of this,” Sara sighed, “Look at the mess that happened the last time the League was in town.”

“Laurel wasn’t the brightest when it came to hunting down whoever killed you and she almost got herself killed a few times,” Felicity admitted. “Oliver was a bit safer, however.” Looking at Sara, she pursed her lips together. She knew Sara was going to worry.

”She really can’t do that again,” Sara replied, “If the person who attacked me is who I seem to remember it being, then even Oliver’s going to be in a hell of a lot of trouble trying to go after him. They need to be more careful than this.”

Wrapping her arms around Felicity, Sara found herself welling up a little at the other’s words. She’d tried to leave the League twice now, and had been hunted halfway across the world for it. Maybe this time she’d cheated death was the world’s way of telling her to make this a fresh start with the people she cared about the most. Unsure how to reply, Sara hugged Felicity a little tighter, hoping the other would understand what she couldn’t quite put into words to say.

Felicity wrapped her arms around Sara, holding her close, and was relieved when her friend did the same thing. It was good to know Sara was alive but she wasn’t sure if Sara was going to sty or leave again. She hoped that Sara hugging her tighter was to say she was back and not a goodbye hug but she couldn’t be sure. All she could do was hold her friend until the time was right for the hug to break.

After a few moments, Sara pulled back from the hug, giving Felicity a reassuring smile, though there were still things she wanted to ask to ease her worries about what had gone on since her ‘death’.

“Things haven’t been too bad patrol-wise since I’ve been - well, since that night, have they?”

Sara had to smile at Felicity’s question, realising how much she’d missed her friends even in the short time she’d been gone. “Sure, Felicity.”

Feeling like a kid, she stepped over to her friend and gave her a hug. “We all really missed you, Sara,” she replied.
